A new app has been made available for school children to advise them about safety at home during the health crisis. It provides up to date news about the virus, how to take care of your own safety while online at home and ideas for maintaining mental health during lockdown. The app is called Safer Schools and it can be downloaded from the App Store or Playstore. Once downloaded, select Department of Education for Northern Ireland (as the name of the school). To gain access parents/pupils then need a code which they can look up in the text message from the school.
